was 76 and now i am 68kgs.
How did you get started?
I have always dreamt of a great body and to look strong. But with time because of college and work I never got time to work on myself,I gained a lot of weight and I kind of started hating they way I use to look.my friends also started to point out . and then I realized and decided to change myself,I also read an article of parineeti chopra and I got inspired as lot from her, she is a true inspiration to me.and then without waiting for anything, I enrolled myself in a gym near my house and started to going their daily.now its been 5 months and I am very much addicted to my schedule.
Where does your motivation come from?
I read an article of parineeti chopra and there was a line saying “if you don’t love the way you look, work to change it” and that was something that clicked in my mind and also a friend of mine , who supported me in the initial days of my workout to stay motivated.
How do you feel your flexibility helps you both in and out of the gym?
Flexibility is a much needed thing in life, not only it helps physically but also provided a satisfaction to mind. People who are more flexible are able to work in difficult situation easily , a lot more than people who are not.
What workout routine has worked best for you?
Cardio and strength training.
If you had to pick only 3 exercises what would they be and why?
I would surely go for running, deadlift, and abs
What is your diet like?
I am purely focused on protein and fiber rich diet. It is very important to eat clean. I do eat junk but once in 15 days or so. I am a big time foodie but now I have learned to eat healthy to that my workout sessions don’t go waste.
What’s the one food you couldn’t live without, and how do you handle food cravings?
Well everytime I feel food cravings, I try to think about what it took to reach here(the body I have now)it is a lot more difficult to control cravings. But if it exceeds than I try to just take a bite of whatever my heart wants me to eat. I try to control the amount of bites I m taking of junk food. Suppose , if I want to eat a burger than I would just take one bite of it and try to satisfy myself . it is all mind games. Trust me, the day you will see results, you will get addicted to eating clean and will get a power to control your mind and body from eating junk or any unhealthy thing.
What’s something not many people know about you?
I am really determined and consistent about what I m working for,I never take things casually. It is very important to be disciplined to achieve success in life.
