How did you get started?

I wasn’t fat but I was skinny with a bloated tummy , I used to eat lots of junk just because  I wanted to gain weight but whatever I eat I don’t get fat anywhere except my tummy and most of the time I get criticize by my relatives or by friends that I look so skinny why don’t I eat more. That’s when I decided to follow a healthy lifestyle with a well balanced food pattern. I was so shocked that within a matter of 6 months I started getting muscle mass and feel so confident about myself as I was never before.

How do you feel your flexibility helps you both in and out of the gym?

In or out of the gym flexibility helps me a lot cause I have never been so so  confident and proud of my strength when i beat with 60 push ups in a row at national level obstacle competition(Devils circuit).

What workout routine has worked best for you?

I am not an early riser , so I prefer my high intensity workouts with weights training routine in the evening. Approx 45/60mint 5 days in an week.

If you had to pick only 3 exercises what would they be and why?

Squats: S/M squat is my favourite cause its an wonder for the glutes muscle.

Oblique push ups: This is killer for the oblique and tone entire body instead of  upper body.

Plank: Anytime fav for my core strength and abs.

What is your diet like?

My day start with a litter of water and handful of almonds or dry figs followed by a carb and fat mixed breakfast to keep my energy level high in the morning. Mid Morning a glass of vegetables juice or a bowl of mixed fruit. Lunch followed by 2 chapatti with dal and lots of vegetables ,tofu or bowl of brown rice with some grill or boil chicken(Mostly high protein based food).Evening a bowl of plain yoghurt /Butter milk /boiled chana or sprouts.Late evening pre workout (Amino) during my workouts and 2 boiled eggs white after workouts. Before I go to my bed end up with a bowl of soup/salad/Grill fish/Tofu (I don’t prefer chicken at night).

What’s the one food you couldn’t live without, and how do you handle food cravings?

I couldn’t live without red velvet cakes… ☹ which I usually include in my cheat meal preferably weekly once.
