  • How did you get started?

 

I was always an enthusiast. I used to go for walk and jog and cycling every morning before I could leave for work. Did this for years and as the interest was always there, I thought of doing trainer certification. As I got completed with certification. I took up a job in a gym in my locality and it started.

 

  • Where does your motivation come from?

 

Looking at myself in the mirror and urge to become better day by day

 

  • How do you feel your flexibility helps you both in and out of the gym?

 

I am definitely not just a gym person, I have learnt yoga, power yoga  , zumba etc . Along with strength training I practice yoga as well on daily basis. Being fit internally and as well as externally is very important. For me despite being a mother of 25 year old daughter i am as active as her.

  • What workout routine has worked best for you?

 

I keep changing my routine as being stuck to one routine doesn’t help. routine should always be changed from time to time and as per the goal to be achieved .

 

  • If you had to pick only 3 exercises what would they be and why?

 

Squats-=It is the foundation and the greatest of all.

Squat exercises improve your circulation, so that you can forget about the cellulite!

Benefits of squats also include improved posture. Squats are a great way not only to improve your posture, but also build better balance. The balance that you need to do them will help to sit, stand and walk tall and straight, just like a beauty queen.

Chest press-Its important to strengthen your chest for a number of reason, it helps keep your upper-body muscles in balance, which improves your posture . “These two things decrease stress and tension on your muscles and bones. A strong chest also helps you do the things you need to do every day, because those pec muscles add power to your shoulders and arms.

Deadlift – Deadlifts should be at the top of your list for general strength and conditioning because they won’t negatively affect your joints, as long as you’re lifting with good technique. helps in strengthing lower back as well.

  • What is your diet like?

 

I am on a run since 6am as i have clients to train the entire day until 8 pm. so I eat as I get time.

Since I am a pure vegetarian (no eggs as well) and have limited access to the sources of protein, I carry my supplements along which are from Evolution Sports Nutrition (ESN).

Morning I usually have oats and milk along with some biscuits .

I usually carry my food along with me depending how the day looks like .

What’s the one food you couldn’t live without, and how do you handle food cravings?

I am not someone who craves like bad for food. I am pretty much ok eating whatever is right and healthy even if it’s tasteless.

What’s something not many people know about you?

People mistake my age. They think I am in my 30’s but i am 45 .
