How did you get started?

Having worked with corporate for 9 years, Corporate Life- Yes No one is untouched by its Stress level, maddening working hours, Poor Eating Habits, Easy available eating options etc.  I too was part of it and was leading a sedentary lifestyle which in turn had added quite a few pounds.  The weight gains further lead to depression and I started staying irritated very often. This all happened when I realized that I am not able to fit into the clothes I like and while shopping I had to choose clothes that would give me an illusion of looking slim. Also I became alert and aware of the health hazards that surrounded the people around. During the next 2-3 years it was not unusual for me to hear about people being diagnosed with health hazards like BP, Cholesterol, and Diabetes etc. I realized in big way that NO THIS IS NOT THE LIFE I WANT..I wanted to see myself Healthy and Fit at my old age. Earning money, working crazy at what cost??? I didn’t want to spend my hard earned money on my health issues and medical bills instead I want to see myself Fit and Healthy at old age spending money on may be World Tour or Holidaying at my favorite destinations. And this would only possible by having health by my side. All this compelled me to rethink and reconsider my lifestyle and I decided to turn my life around.That was high time, I took my fitness seriously. Throughout the past 3 years I Studied Diet and Nutrition and Did my Personal Training Certification. I have built up great knowledge from various studies, reading many books and articles testing out on myself with different eating plans and training plans. I started it, to fit into my favorite clothes but never knew it will become my passion and then one day….MY PROFESSION!!

Where does your motivation come from?

Expectations from people around when they look up to me and I feel responsible if any way I can make difference in single person life that would complete my Fitness journey. It feels good I am able to serve people with best of my knowledge and transforming their life in big way. I wish to make THIS WORLD A FIT PLACE. And other thing, “This Beautiful life’ is biggest motivation. And I want to live it at fullest and that could only be possible if health and fitness be at my side.

How do you feel your flexibility helps you both in and out of the gym?

When I look back, the day I took my first step towards fitness, I can see I have not only transformed myself physically but this fitness made me stronger internally too and made me better positive Person, more stronger and confident than ever. Actually I feel so proud, had it not been fitness I would have never aware of what I was capable of. I still struggle to see the best of me every day.

What workout routine has worked best for you?

Weight Training and HIIT

If you had to pick only 3 exercises what would they be and why?

1) Deadlifts 2) Squats : Major muscle group . Recruit maximum muscles during workout. 3) HIIT: For more conditioning.

What is your diet like?

Being Fitness Freak I eat everything but mindfully. As per current goal it is High Protein all the time. My meal is incomplete without having one Protein meal in it. But yes right amount of carbs and fats are equally important. Rest all depend on my goal. I like to experiment with different kind of diets. Following same diet pattern become monotonous and body adapt it quickly so if you want to take it next level, you have to move out your body from comfort zone.

What’s the one food you couldn’t live without, and how do you handle food cravings?

My mind taste food now more than my taste buds. So even on cheat days I will not have without counting macros and micros. But Yes High Protein : chicken, fish and eggs I cant think of living without these superfoods.  My favorite food is Thai, Goan and Continental.Anytime I can have it without counting on Calories. Honestly I hardy get craving for anything. But in case if it happens then I indulge on any food guilt free.

What’s something not many people know about you?

That I am lazy when it comes to cardio :p I wonder how people Run Marathon..That gives me nightmare.. I may overcome my this fear someday
