Delba bestonso. I’m 47 years ‘young'(prefer to saying 47 yrs old). I’m a mother to a 18 year old son who shares my same gym interest and we workout together.

How did you get started?

As I was an athlete in school and wanted to maintain the same form I started focussing on the gym ..I started gymming at the age of 17.

How do you feel your flexibility helps you both in and out of the gym?

Flexibility in the gym helps me target all excersises…out of the gym I’m extremely active considering my age …I walk a lot ..use the stairs most of the time as that’s the best cardio if u can run up .


What workout routine has worked best for you?

Weights has been my best routine so far …it keeps me toned but still maintains my curves.

If you had to pick only 3 exercises what would they be and why?

3 excersises  I would suggest is :
Stairs: use them all the time as they are very good for the legs, buttocks  and building stamina .
Bench pressing: good for the chest. After a certain age the chest sags and post delivery the skin loosens …so chest excersises are a must for women.
Crunches and side lifts : they keep your tummy flat and side /overhead lifts decrease love handles .

What is your diet like?

I really don’t diet that’s why I gym 1.5 hrs a day × 6 days a week 😁

What’s the one food you couldn’t live without, and how do you handle food cravings?

I can’t live without French fries and chocolates.
