How did you get started?
I’ve always been active. I’ve always loved moving. I started Bharatnatyam when I was young but I believe I started dancing right in my mother’s womb. Ever since then.
Where does your motivation come from?
A lot of places. Dancers. Movers. Athletes. Yogis and yoginis and Instagram
How do you feel your flexibility helps you both in and out of the gym?
I don’t go to the gym. But strength and flexibility are equally important. To simultaneously keep your muscles strong and agile.
What workout routine has worked best for you?
If you had to pick only 3 exercises what would they be and why?
Plank – Builds strength in all the right areas.
Squats- Who wouldn’t want a better butt?
Burpee’s- Because it’s the combination of the above two.
What is your diet like?
I eat everything in moderation. Except meat. I’ve become a vegetarian.
What’s the one food you couldn’t live without, and how do you handle food cravings?
Pizza. It’s my Achilles heel. I eat everything in moderation. So automatically my cravings are taken care of.
What’s something not many people know about you?
Coconut water, books and rain are a few of my favorite things.
